I dunno if you guys watched countdown to 81 tonight, but i watched it and i really hope Mir was blowing some smoke. Mir said that he knows he cant stop Brocks takedown so he intends to out strike Brock and use high kicks????

I would agree that Mir has the advantage in striking, but if he doesnt connect cleanly with that high kick, hes on his back. Even though Mir is great off his back, with a guy that big and that good a wrestler on top of you, one false move and its over baby. Mir has to be PERFECT on the ground with Lesnar on top of him because Brock can end that fight in the blink of an eye if Mir isnt quick enough.

I would hate to be Mir on saturday..

A lot of people seem rag on Brock a lot. The guy is growing on me. Depending on his performance win or lose, I could easily see myself hopping on the Brock Lesnar train.

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

i said a long while ago (before his first fight) that i was on the Lesnar bandwagon i think he will be a legit threat someday. im not gonna sit here a say hes gonna run Mir over, i can see him losing this fight as easily as he can win but give it a year or two and Brock will be someone to watch out for.

I agree Brock has a good future in front of him but I think the UFC should bring him alond slower. Only one MMA fight is not enough experience to start facing top talent. He’s never been put in bad positions or had to overcome adversity. His first fight lasted barely over a minute which I doubt he could have learned anything from. Mir finally looks like he’s healthy again and determined to be a contender. I think this will be a though first lesson for Brock but with a couple of years under his belt he will be up there.
