Here are the results from last nights UFC Fight Night event for the MMA HQ fight camp on MMAPlayground.com.
The nights big winners were maxx and bvrasp. Maxx ended the night with 96 points easily winning our fight camp by over 20 points and placing him at #9 overall for the event on MMAPlayground. BVRasp raked in big money gaining over $6,800 on a four-way parlay with Florian, Hamill, Maynard and Neer. (Personally, I had might worst night in three seasons last night getting only 44 points and losing $250 in wagers.)

Thanks!, if I can do that a few more times I might get a t-shirt…or heck $500 wouldn’t be so bad either…lol. Do the teams get anything for winning..or only individuals? Anybody know? We broke into the top 20 points wise with this event, and not much separates us from the #1 spot.
does anyone take a long time to pick there picks?it only takes me about a minute
It usually takes me just a few minutes. If I’m not familiar with a guy I’ll check fight finder and see what he’s about. I might make a few last minute changes the day of the fight, but thats about it.
i need to take my time i for sure would of picked johnson guy if i knew who he was.
Maybe before cards we should discuss more in depth what our picks are and why.
What does the winning team get? Also has anyone else gotten recruitment letters from another team asking you to join?
I dont think the winning team gets anything other than a little badge that says we were #1 for 2008.
Your analysis for this Saturday’s card gonna be up soon? There are some really tough calls on this one, I’m curious as to what you have to say about some of them.

I’m still working through my thoughts on some of the fights. Some pretty tough bouts on this one.
Doc, half the fights are no brainers, unless your picking BIG underdogs.
GSP, Franklin, Quarry, Danzig, Bisping and Belcher are all in the bag in my opinion, i would have liked to see some better matchups from joe silva, but what else is new…
The only fights i see as being close are Mcdonald vs Doerkson, Stout vs Clementi, Goulet vs Hironaka and Velasquez vs Morris.
and the only one of those fights that actually interests me is Mcdonald vs Doerkson.. im with Mcdonald by the way..

I’ve thought about moving the previews up to Wednesday instead of Thursday but haven’t committed to it yet.
It’s kind of been a tradition for the past 3 years so I just haven’t changed my flow yet.
