Here are the results from last nights UFC 83 event for the MMA HQ fight camp on MMAPlayground.com.

POINTS

1) bvrasp – 78 pts
2) MikeD – 73 pts
2) DJersey – 73 pts
2) PATRICK – 73 pts
5) chosen141 – 61 pts

WAGERS

1) PATRICK – $916
2) The_Frog – $380
3) chosen141 – $333
4) littlenurselaura – $300
5) RJStCroix – $205

Overall as a fight camp we dropped quite a bit and are now #40 in the middleweight division. We are #21 overall in average bankroll, but are #12 overall in win/loss record. We did add two new fight camp members for UFC 83, so I think that factored in to our overall drop as those new users were brand new accounts.

sup chucchi lickers….good nite of fights….doc does that mean I won the most cash???

  2. Amir says:

    My bad ya’ll,

I usually don’t make my picks & bets on the playground until a day before the events and I’ve been so busy this past week that I completely forgot to go over my picks for this event and, in turn, didn’t submit anything to contribute to our overall standing. I’ve been getting my *** handed to me so far this season anyway, so maybe it wouldn’t have made much of a difference anyway…lol.

  3. bvrasp says:

I tried guys, i had 650 on my parlay, to win 9000 and Demian ****** it all up. So i got 400 for my picks and lost my 650, leaving me at -250 for the event..

  4. maxx says:

I did pretty terrible. Luckily I bet in such a way that I only lost like $40. Oh well there’s always next month.

  5. MMAKanas says:

Sorry guys.. i have to apologize to all you guys… I haven’t been on much lately and I just lazed out and didn’t even bet on the event or make any picks… I PROMISE I will be on top of that for UFC 84 ..

  6. MAD says:

Terrible wagering this event. I did decent on my pics but put to much down on the underdogs and parlay bets. I lost more this event than last one which I didn’t think was possible. Good night of fights though. Had to keep switching between the fights and the Avalanche vs Wild game because they started at the same time. Avalanche advance to the second round and GSP dominates Serra not a bad night.

  7. PATRICK says:

kansas our top boy where ya been sir…..so who’s next for gsp..I seen a quote today from fitch sayin “I ll beet gsp and win the strap”…pssh my *** *****…or fitch

  8. MMAKansas says:

    @Patrick
Been busy working.. telling people about my faith – so anyways who’s next for GSP? Doesn’t matter, he will cream anyone at Welterweight, just like Silva will do at Middleweight, fact is boys we have the most dominant champs since Chuck Liddell, you want a sure bet, bet on GSP or Silva, chances are at this point I don’t see either losing for a long while unless we see some people dropping or gaining weight to go into those divisions. After GSP handled Matt Hughes like he did, well that looked as bad or worse than when Hughes handled Gracie so yeah… most dominant whatever.. lol… GSP is gonna hold that title for a LONG while lest he slack off, underestimate, or go to a different division… only person I could see beating him is BJ Penn or Anderson Silva and that would take divisional moves by champions and that wont happen for a long time if ever.. its all speculation..

  9. PATRICK says:

yea..I just don’t like bj penns attitude…and I think he’s gonna take shawnie boy lightly….and I see shawnie getting his strap back…gsp states that a fight w silva would be interesting ?????interesting ?????

    • MMAKansas says:

Well Patrick, I think for GSP it is interesting.. because EVERYONE would love to see it and it has no actual benefit for GSP he is already considered one of the best fighters in the WORLD right now….. if he lost against Silva it would almost denegrade his standing even though it was against Silva, so whats the point, you want your champions to be and look the BEST in the world in THEIR divisions, so I wouldn’t risk taking the gloss off of Georges right now with that fight, or off of Silva for that matter… if you think about it the only division in the UFC that has a disputable champion of second teir standing is Nog and that is because Couture could disputedly beat him, we know Fedor could.

I think GSP should pass on a Silva fight, because he is at a loss with reach, height, and in the stand up game Silva is darn near unstoppable… could GSP beat Rich Franklin???? Now there is a catch weight fight, if not then why even think about Silva?

As for BJ… I love his cocky attitude, he backs it up most of the time, and I think he has become a driven animal, he wants one last go with Hughes, that is his motivation, to get through the best in his division, (maybe 2 more fights after Sherk) then jump up and put a whipping on ol’ John Deere Jr… lol… cannot wait to see that happen with BJ IN SHAPE..

      • R.J. St.Croix says:

i agree 100% GSP moving up to fight Silva is a fan fight for sure but a bad move if your trying to cement yourself as the pound for pound best. St.Pierre can be knocked out (we’ve seen it) and Silva can knock people out (we’ve seen it lots) its kinda a bad match up for Georges, and beside that there two of my favorite fighters and i wouldnt know who to cheer for lol.

        • MMAKansas says:

Definitely two of my fav’s too RJ.. I know what you mean, it would be (for me anyways) like have Wanderlei fight Shogun, or even Anderson Silva.. gosh I don’t want to see that even though it would be fireworks the whole time….. there are just some things as a fan I would rather see left alone.. lol

  10. R.J. St.Croix says:

wow it seems like UFC 85 was doomed from the get go, first Shogun dropped out now Liddell cant fight. i wonder who is gonna jump in his spot now.
