The UFC’s next event in England, UFC 85, suffered yet another setback last night as Chuck Liddell pulled himself off the fight card with a torn hamstring. Liddell was set to face Rashad Evans in the nights main event.

According to UFC President Dana White, Liddell still wanted to compete:

Being the warrior that he is, he still wanted to fight, which is the reason why everyone in the world loves him, but I wouldn’t let anyone fight with his leg looking that way. Let him heal and come back and fight when he is 100 percent.

UFC 85, scheduled for June 7 in London, England will now be looking for a decent main event. James Irvin has been surfaced as a possible replacement to face Evans, but nothing is confirmed at this point.

That is one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. I didn’t know what I was looking at for moment. Chuck has some real chicken legs, huh? lmao

This event’s title should be called UFC 85: Bring A Book. Here’s an idea, pull Rashad off the card and put in an injured Shogun and an injured Liddell instead.

  5. PATRICK says:

even though i cant stand bisbing… anyone else agree that he looked bad *** at 185

i was never really happy with the Liddell vs. Evans anyway, but now that whole card is pretty much poop now.

  7. Well I doubt they will be able to come up with a decent main event now, so unless they move this card to Spike TV, I won’t watch it. I’m certainly not going to pay for the card.

This would mark the 2nd time this year that I haven’t bought a UFC PPV, which would be a record.
