Can’t believe JZ was taken on a decision. I thought the only way Aoki would have a chance of winning was by submission. Dennis Kang is on a bad stretch also. I though he would win the tournament. At least Saku won his fight the guys old but obviously can still compete.

Thought you would have more to say about this doc..

Anyways, JZ vs Aoki was an awesome fight man! the fight of the year so far in my book, if you havent seen it, you should def check it out. Aoki looked amazing in that fight, shutting down Cavalcantes striking, forcing the cling, his takedowns, flying triangle, etc.. Aoki also absorbed alot of hard shots and never gave up. JZ did a great job of escaping all kinds of crazy sub moves and surviving till the end of the fight.

Saku looked very tired even from the start of the fight, you can tell he didnt train, because he would have probably aggrevated his injuries during training. Guys talk about how their knee injuries make them lose a step and slows down their shoot. Saku was flat footed the whole fight, he basically had zero shoot speed from a wrestling standpoint, but that didnt stop him from diving at the guys feet, working the position from guard to sidemount to the back for a neck crank submission.

Good call by Dr. J predicting Mousasi over Kang. I thought Kang had it in the bag when he was working a kimora from the side mount position. He made one mistake got caught in a triangle and thats all she worte.

Tamura vs Funaki was alot more exciting than i thought it would be. These guys went right after it, Funaki got the best of the exchanges, then Tamura turned it around and destroyed him, good fight while it lasted.

I expected Yoon vs Oyama to be a more exciting fight, but it ended up being somewhat lack luster.

    Minowas out, pretty disappointing performance..

man first ko then submission kang is really going into a rut

I enjoyed the card. I was very disappointed with Kang, but not much he could do. He’s about to move into underrated territory from this recent rut. He would tear up the WEC, cage or KOTC….the dude needs a win in the worst way. He’s way better than the last few fights have demonstrated.
