  2. PATRICK says:

I just don’t trust those dream scumbags…who knows who’s getting paid extra to win a fight…anyone agree??

Im really liking Dream guys, almost back to back events for us to watch, Pride rules back in effect and most importantly, the big name fighters.

In my opinion, its already surpassed EliteXC and Strikeforc, WEC, etc..

The only thing that sucks is that WVR has some of the fighters, it would be so much better if they were with Dreams.

In short, Gomi should have been in the LWGP.. but still.. cant complain..

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

i think Dream was going to surpass most other orgs right fast just based of the idea that it is kinda PRIDE redux and the hardcore fans are at least going to check it out for just that reason, now add in good/big name fighters and put on even a half way decent show and you got a winner for sure.

Not an awful card, but not really one I’m overly excited about. The loss of both JZ and Aoki make the LWGP a little less interesting for me. As a side note anyone see the Bas Rutten Cameo in GTA 4? Very very funny.

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

yeah i didn’t see the Bas thing yet but i’ve heard hes pretty funny in GTA4. did you buy it? if so how is it?

      • maxx says:

yeah I got it the afternoon it came out. I’m only a few hours in though. So far the scope of it is a bit overwhelming…just so much to do. I’ve decided to focus on the story first (which is excellent) and then exploit the city later. I’ve never heard the F-Bomb dropped so many times in a game in my life. Not a game to play around children, that’s for sure. I for see some lawyers and politicians really making a stink over this as soon they really get a good idea of whats in the game. So far form what I can see it deserves all the praise it has been getting. If you can afford only one game this year…this would be the one to get.

  5. maxx says:

Yeah he’s on one the little TV shows you can watch in the apartment. It’s called “The Men’s Room” he mostly talks how to be a real man, and how he deals with stress by beating up smaller guys…hilarious. Supposedly the online part of GTA 4 is unbelievable, but I’m so wrapped up in single player I haven’t even tried it.

    • bvrasp says:

Maxx, ya i started playing it too, not that im complaining.. but there alot of elements missing that were in San Andreas. I liked that whole RPG element where you got better at something the more you did it, etc, shooting, driving, piloting, etc. They should have kept that concept in there, also gone is the vehicle specific missions, like paramedic, vigilante, etc..

Oh, the driving feels clunky too..

  6. PATRICK says:

yo rj how do u pronounce or say…st crouis im assuming is ur last name??

  7. PATRICK says:

bv ..good point..dream will probably blow up and be pride all over again…that would rock if diaz ever gets the strap heh!!!

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

im a big fan of Diaz and would also like to see him in gold, but for Nick at some point his career seemed to be at a stand still. he got the half way between good and great plateau and stayed there. Nick spends more time TALKING about being the best in the world the trying to really be the best. i think lil bro Nate will eventually surpass everything big bro Nick has or will do, because he seems more determined to be a good fighter.

      • richard says:

the only thing wrong with the diaz’s brothers fighting game is the have no power in there punches especially nate,he might have good boxing skills but no real power, and please guys i know that nick koed lawler with a punch but it was a fluke.I dont know how u could possibly learn to hit harder but it would really big a very big asset to there game if they had at least harder punches.

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

im not sure if the Diaz boys throw arm punches because there doing it on purpose or if they just dont realize there style is no good for K.Os. the way Nick throws and gets the other guy ducking and then gets bodylocks and singles is awesome and arm punches are less likely to get you out of position and use a lot less energy to throw. its ok to throw not to knock someone out if your using it to set something up, and the Diaz boys are good on the ground so its a good idea to throw pitter-patt shots to get the take down.

        • richard says:

i get exactly what ur saying RJ but ive heard both diaz brothers talk about how no one wants to stand with them most recently nate against batman.

        • bvrasp says:

Richard, you CAN teach someone to “hit harder”, but you cant teach them to “hit hard”.. if that makes any sense..

  8. bvrasp says:

You guys heard about Forrest leg kicking an interviewer for being late? with permission ofcourse. Check the video..

  9. PATRICK says:

lol agree with all yall…I bet all of the top dudes in here all hit harder than the diaz brothers lol

  10. MTU says:

^^ Old news. Newby recovered fine. There’s a second video out of a bunch of MMA fighters wanting to train Newby to beat up Forrest. That **** is funny.

  11. PATRICK says:

    scumbags!!!!!
