your right about it being lame to bitch to the media about not getting enough money but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and the media is just as much to blame as the people doing the bitching, sh*t the writers make a living from guys like Tito. if you've read the numbers on what the UFC was making as opposed to what they were spending you would see that fighting making more being the cause of p.p.v. prices going up would be the promoter being greedy. people dont like Tito (nether do i) and that negates a lot of thing he has to say, but he does have some good points.

Anyone who wants fighters to get millions of dollars per fight should look at what has happened to boxing over the last 15 years. In boxing, there are tons of rematches and only the very top guys do well. For every Mayweather, you have 50 guys in boxing who make peanuts. The fans are going to pay a LOT more than $40.00 for PPVs if fighter's salaries are to have any chance of going up to what Tito wants to see. That also means you'll have the top 4 fighters in each division fighting each other over and over again for the title while lesser fighters don't get as many shots.

It's ridiculous for fans to be sympathizing with someone like Tito Ortiz, who is doing quite well. Tito is doing more than alright, so no one should be feeling sorry for him. The newer, greener fighters know they have to prove themselves before they make the big bucks, and most of them don't complain about that. I don't see anyone complaining other than Randy, Tito, and Fedor, who are all at the top of the food chain. That's because they are greedy, and if you paid them more, they would still want more.

I'm all for a fighter negotiating for more money, but sit down at the table and do it with your management. Don't run to the press and bítch about what you're making. It's low-class and won't really get you what you're looking for.

i hate saying this but.... Titos right. there seems to be a lot of money floating around the UFC and the fighters are not getting a big enough chunk of it IMO. about the whole sponsorship thing i said it before, if the UFC isnt going to let there fighters pimp there sponsors the way they want then they need to up some more money. i dont spend a bunch of money just so i can do my job because my boss would take care of it, other wise its not worth it for me right? why should MMA be any different? one thing i kinda got a laugh over is Tito saying i feel like a hooker (insert Jenna joke) and i gotta scrape by with a million dollars lol yeah a mil thats hardly enough to live man lol. i think Tito should be earning millions and so should ever other fighter, but please dont bitch about scraping by on a mil you sound like a greedy bastard.
