wow man i just read about Kim Coutures MMA debut and the woman sounds like a f*ckin warrior. i read she got rocked in the first few seconds of the fight and got swarmed on for the rest of the fight, and even with a broken nose AND jaw she fought to a decision loss, Randy must be proud.

  2. R.J. St.Croix says:

lol Evan Tanner will come into tonights fight with an awesome Kimbo style beard lol im not sure why you guys would need to know that but what ever, lets see if it helps him to not get knocked out lol

  3. PATRICK says:

hey doc…do u know if joes little bro dan won last nite at that wcf event???

  4. R.J. St.Croix says:

is anyone whos watching the fights on tonight? i know your around BV, where you at bro?

    • bvrasp says:

haha ya im around man, it looked to me like Riddle had some kind of milk mustache, but its his upper lip protruding because of the mouthpiece and reflecting the light heh

      • bvrasp says:

Riddle also showed his inexperience when he gave up the top position near the cage to go for an armbar. Besides that it was like a slow motion armbar, he couldnt extend anyways because of the cage. He didnt make that mistake the 2nd time though, wonder if they mentioned it to him in the corner..

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

yeah man Ju-Jitsu for MMA is different the normal BJJ, ending up on the bottom in MMA is a lot worse then in BJJ.

        • bvrasp says:

no doubt, especially when your a purple belt and your opponent is a brown belt hehe.

      • R.J. St.Croix says:

lol hes a growing boy hes gotta drink lots of milk lol. Riddle worked Dante over for the whole 15 minutes, hes gonna be a decent fighter someday IF he can learn some better defense. turning your head and ducking is not the best way to defend the overhand left lol your just asking the other guy to fake one and kick your face right off lol.

        • bvrasp says:

oh hell ya, i notice Dante faked him out a few times. The best one was where he did 2 feints, but slowly looking tired, then loaded up a slow hook and Riddle thought it was another feint, then Dante followed through with it landing hard on Matts head. Thats all experience man, real savy.

  5. R.J. St.Croix says:

there has been a stupid amount of commercials so far, its starting to bug me.

  6. R.J. St.Croix says:

this should be a good bout.

  7. bvrasp says:

RJ here bookmark this site, you can watch Kenny vs Spenny here when you have some spare time. Lots of other good shows on this site, also has movies.

  8. R.J. St.Croix says:

why do they find the need to remind us ever 5 minutes about Rampage vs. Forrest, f*ck we know! this whole thing is about Forrest vs. Rampage, like come on man show a fight please.

  9. R.J. St.Croix says:

this fight has quite the pace as well.

  10. bvrasp says:

OH YA BABY! thats what i like to see, how bout that finish?? Amazing takedown defense by Luigi he just went up a notch in my book.

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

yeah man good takedown d and good scrambles.

      • bvrasp says:

so all my picks came through, not including the undercard cuz i dont know what happened there yet, but its looking good for my parlay, i stand to make like around 30K on the playground

        • bvrasp says:

hey RJ, guess what.. Forrest is fighting Rampage lol.

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

i got Yarbrough in my parley and his fight was cancelled at the last second for some reason, so i dont know how thats going to work. not that it matters cuz Stephens killed it for me anyways but it’ll suck if all the people who took Yarbrough lose becuse of that.

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

oh man you’ll never guess what i just heard…… Rampage is going to be putting his title on the line and guess who hes fighting?…. Forrest Griffin! wow thats crazy…. lol

        • bvrasp says:

Im thinking they will probably just disregard that fight, so if you picked 4 fights in your parlay, it will only count 3.

  11. bvrasp says:

oh man, what a situation.. you have to tap three times to stop the fight as far as i know. Then again, Herb might have stopped him getting his arm broken.

tough call man, i guess you have to err on the side of caution here. It was only 1 tap, but it was definately a TAP..

gotta hand it to Herb Dean, hes really improved as a ref in terms of dealing with stick situations.

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

it looked to me like he let go of his wrist to tap and only got one tap in before he had to stop his arm from being broken (or he though might break) he was not punching or doing anything to hurt Amir and i dont see any other reason to let go of your arm while its in a deep armbar. sorry CB you lose fairly squirely show some class buddy.

  12. R.J. St.Croix says:

who you got here? i say Tanner round 2 TKO.

  13. bvrasp says:

well i missed that one, i picked CB, but it wasnt a part of my parlay bet. I think i have Grove in the parlay, dont let me down big guy!

  14. R.J. St.Croix says:

good fight so far, Kendall looks good and that jumping knee was nuts.

  15. R.J. St.Croix says:

wow man Evan is getting beeeeaaat up! Kendall is taking him apart.

  16. bvrasp says:

    NIIIIICE!! lets go McFedries!!!

    • bvrasp says:

Man.. has Mcfedries ever had a boring fight? not in the UFC..

Thats why i love to watch that guy fight! 1st round, full steam, takes huge risks, hes got a chin and heavy hands.. What more can you ask for? hehe

  17. R.J. St.Croix says:

wow a UFC show going over the 3 hour mark,i better write this down lol.

  18. R.J. St.Croix says:

Marvin with awesome “hug me im drunk” dance lol that was funny as hell.

  19. bvrasp says:

    Very satisfying night of fights..

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

no doubt man tell me thats not worth the price you paid to watch it, as long as the UFC continues to put on free shows like this they will stay at the top of the heap. its very obvious you dont NEED top ten guys to put on a good cards, you just need real fighters with real heart. im hoping for someday to see cards like this once a week with a p.p.v. full with top tens at the end of the month, the weekly show will break you into the p.p.v. group and winning will keep you there.

      • bvrasp says:

oh man! that would be the best.. i bet they would increase their fanbase by atleast 25% by making a move like that. Forget about a network deal, just chill with spike, put on a free show every week, plus TUF on the side, then a ppv once a month like you said.

thats what it should be.. make it happen dana!!

  20. PATRICK says:

dang bv and rj…u two own this site lol…great nite of fights…go amir….yay

  21. Maxx says:

I must be losing my mind, cause I had Tanner clearly winning the first round. and then losing the second, and nearly winning the third. The dude was landing nearly everything in the clench…all of small..but still adding points. I think Grove should have definitely got the UD, but I wasn’t surprised by the split at all. Tanner kept grove against the cage for 80% of the fight, if thats not ring control…then I don’t know what is. Though I fully admit a severe Tanner bias, I just want him to do good for himself.

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

i think its because it looked like Kendall was just beating him up for most of the fight, even when Tanner was landing stuff Kendall was still landing back and it just looked worse.

    • bvrasp says:

Maxx, i agree about the cage control thing, i was the one saying he couldnt beat Grove in the clinch because of Groves size. When Tanner had him on the cage i was real nervous man, Tanner was actually beating him up in the clinch a bit.

But after that, Grove got off the fence and he put a pretty hard beating on Tanner man, with the knees, bows, kicks.. at best i would have given Tanner 1 round.

  22. R.J. St.Croix says:

its been kind of a normal thing lately for me and BV to comment back and forth during MMA shows.

  23. bvrasp says:

    NOOOOOOO i lost my parlay!!

I thought i Had Fisher in my parlay! Turns out i had,

    Grove
    McFedries
    Lister

    and

ARROYO!!! you blew it matty boy.. dam i would have had 34K on the playground..

though i came in first in points for the camp… yay… lol

  24. PATRICK says:

u two r crazy canadians….I feel real bad for tanner…I like his beard better than kimbos….

  25. MMAKansas says:

Hey guys.. just hasn’t been tons of movement that i am interested in…. I like MMA but I like certain fighters and so I am not concerned about this years TUF show or finale.. fact is I don’t have SPIKE and I cannot buy PPV so I can either stream fights in the next day or the night of on my PC or I can go out and see the fights w friends ect…

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

i like TUF man, ive been a fan from day one. i have A LOT of fights on DVD and its really cool when you go back and watch one and say “wow if this card was on today people would being saying its stacked” just have a look a UFN5 it had:
      Anderson Silva vs. Chris Leben
      Rashad Evans vs. Stephan Bonnar
      Mark Hominick vs. Jorge Gurgel
      Josh Koscheck vs. Dave Menne
Jason Lambert vs. Branden Lee Hinkle
      Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves
      Jonathan Goulet vs. Luke Cummo
while this card is not the greatest of all time its more then worthy of two or three hours of my time to sit and watch for free. someday some of these TUFers will be the top dogs and its cool to be able to watch there career right from day one, if Amir ends up being the pound for pound best i can say “i remember watching that guys first pro MMA fight” and its a cool thing to get to really watch these new faces become great fighters instead of all of a sudden you hear about this guy whos a beast and he comes in and with in two or three fights is fighting a champ, it was probably a bit odd for new fans to see Dan Henderson come in a lose TWO title fights back to back and still be called one of the best because they never seen him fight before. TUF give us the chance to watch a fighter get to the point where he deserves a title shot, and by that point you know him, you like him, and you wanna see him win. i guess im just enough of a fan of the sport that i dont really care whos fighting as long as they put on a good show, i also laugh at my own jokes and spend half the day at work bouncing plastic bushings off things to entertain myself so what the hell do i know anyways lol.

      • bvrasp says:

ya i like TUF too, remember when everyone was wondering if these guys are on par to fight in the UFC. History has shown alot of these guys ended up being complete beasts after getting the money to become full time fighters.

ofcourse theres some posers, but overall there has been a huge amount of talent added to UFC at almost every division because of TUF. Where was the LW div before TUF? now its stacked.

Im not saying its 100% positive, but alot of good things have come from it. Most importantly more mma fights on free TV hehe.

  26. MMAKansas says:

Dang judges don’t really know what they are doing out there most of the time.. I mean you look at Bisping v Hamil… perfect example, how could ANY idiot get that wrong… well if they cannot get it right on something as one sided as that fight then they are going to go straight retarded on this one..

  27. MMAKansas says:

Got a little money on playground I think.. couple hundred

  28. PATRICK says:

I agree kansas..notta lotta happenin ….can’t wait for adreneline!!!

  29. PATRICK says:

    yea oops ..meant affliction
