UFC IS SOOOO ******* PATHETIC WITH THERE PAYOUTS…. LOOK AT THE PAYOUTS FOR AFFFLICTION

TIM SILVA GOT PAYED 800,000 FEDOR 300,000

FOR 1 FIGHT THESE FIGHTERS GET PAID MORE THEN ANY UFC EVENT COMBINED…

DANA WHITE IS A CHEAP ***

  2. Amir says:

You might be right, but only time will tell if Affliction will be able to continue to put on these “supercards” on a consistent basis.

    • bvrasp says:

Well Amir, since before the first show, they planned to take a loss on the first 2 events. So we have atleast one more great card to look forward to from Affliction. Though after this next event i dont know what they plan to do.

Were talking about losing millions, the real problem is that there simply isnt a large enough fanbase for them to even break even with these caliber fightcards especially considering how much theyre paying the fighters.

Im sure they cant keep putting on events that lose millions for long, its great for us, but its ridiculous from a business sense. So they will either just pack it up, or try and downgrade which also doesnt fare well for Affliction.

Like you said, only time will tell..

  3. Amir says:

Well so far, it looks like they already broke the 100,000 PPV buy mark, which is a huge accomplishment in itself. I did my part and bought it, I hope everyone else did the same or plan on it in the future.

I would like to know one thing though Mr. Dana White…
Fedor gets paid only $300,000 and you thought that was too much?

    • bvrasp says:

Amir, from what ive read on the net.. Affliction needed 250K ppv buys just to break even on this event and so far no mma event has even come close to that mark.

About Fedor, it fluxuates but most people are saying he made around 2 mil fighting for Affliction.

  4. Steve says:

When a promotion has Donald Trump money behind it, they can afford to take a loss for quite some time before needing to see a profit.
