The Orange Country District Attorny’s office today officially charged former UFC heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson with six different crimes.

The charges include one felony evading while driving recklessly, one felony evading an officer, one misdemeanor reckless driving and three different misdemeanor hit and runs. If convicted on all counts, Jackson could face up to three years in prison. Jackson’s formal arraignment is currently set for August 28.

Most notably, Jackson did not receive any charges related to the miscarriage of Holli Griggs. Griggs was 16 weeks pregnant when her car was struck by Jackson’s truck and later miscarried her child. An investigation by the DA’s office revealed that the miscarriage was unrelated to the hit and run incident.

Free Rampage!! If there are no real charges, then they should just leave him alone. I know how the system in Cali works. They’ll give you a crap load of charges so that you pay a lot in fines and hire their disgusting lawyers for 10s of thousands of dollars. They aint going to put Rampage in prison, Trust me, they just want to make sure that they will take as much money as they can from him. F’n pigs!

well first off, its good that Rampage is not link to the miscarried child. i didnt want to pass judgment on him for that because i have a real BIG problem with anyone who hurts a child. as for the charges, i dont think Rampage will spend any time behind bars. i can see him pleading guilty to one or two of them and having the rest dropped and depending on whether or not he has priors (and the severity of the priors) i can see him ending up on probation and going through some sort of classes or doing some public service in the way of PSAs or seminars on why you shouldnt go on a……… rampage……. ok that was bad lol.

this is kinda true anywhere, lots of money+fame+good lawyers=getting away with murder, just ask OJ or Robert Blake lol. and i know both those cases happened in Cali but really who is famous that doesnt live in Cali, short of killing the sister of your judge in a town with a population of like 300, having a big bank roll is always you best defense. and if Rampage didnt want to have to pay a ton of cash to try and clear his name then maybe he should have stayed off the road that day. and thats the thing that baffles me, im sure he has people around him (trainers, managers, publicists, friends, family, ect.) all the time why didnt someone say “hey Rampage you look a little upset, maybe you shouldnt go for a drive” or “hey buddy, how about a bite to eat” if i have a friend who is living off of nothing but energy drink for days at a time and their whole world went to sh*t a few days ago, im stealing their car keys if they like it or not, at least for the safety of my friend.

Sylvia vs LeBanner at Affliction?? Nice.. i think thats a great matchup, LeBanner is the type of guy to push the pace and Tim wont be able to stall much. Ofcourse on the ground, although Tim isnt amazing, he still has a big advantage over Jerome and we might see Big Tim shooting for the legs.

Very interesting fight, i like to watch LeBanner fight, sadly i havent been able to sit still long enough to watch a K1 event the past few years.. though i HAVE tried..
