In a bit of news that it sure to bring and ear-to-ear grin to UFC President Dana White’s face, Affliction has postponed their “Day of Reckoning” event until January 2009.

The fight card, only Affliction’s second event, was scheduled to take place on October 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada and be headlined by a heavyweight fight between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett.

While no official statement has yet been released by Affliction, the event is now expected to be held in Anaheim, California on January 17, 2009.

    so what does everyone think about this issue for Affliction? this is something we usually see happen when a promotion is on its way out. it makes me wonder if the Affliction ship is sinking already.
