Hey RJ, didnt want to say anything till after you knew the results. Dam, Neer really let me down in this fight, not to take anything away from Diaz cuz he showed some amazing groundwork.

From the start of the fight, Neer was going for takedowns?? umm.. why? he made so many statements about how hes gonna test Nates chin etc.. Now was this all to throw Nate off? to make him think hes gonna try and standup but really shoot in? If that WAS the plan, it was a ridiculous gameplan. Swing your arms at him man! all it would have taken is one good punch, we already know Diaz cant KO Neer, he doesnt throw hard shots, he punches for points not KOs. Neer had him completely outmatched on the feet, man if just let his hands go he could have really hurt Diaz in the 1st round if not KOed him.

Why do guys always do this? like Hughes deciding to stand up with guys instead of using his wrestling just to try and trick the other guy. IT DOESNT WORK! its been proven time and time again, stick to what your good at and your opponent will do the same and lets see who wins. Who comes up with these terrible gameplans??

Imagine Kimbo vs Nog, heres a brilliant idea, Nog thinks he wants to strike right? but just to throw him off, Kimbos gonna shoot in and submit Nog! ya ya thats it.. for ***** sakes! Ofcourse that would never happen because Bas isnt an idiot like whoever is coming up with these faulty gameplans..

sigh.. doc how come some of my posts dont come up???

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

you gotta sign up at http://www.gravatar.com , then upload your photo and it will assign that pic to you email addy so everytime you come here and type in your email it will display your pic…. sometimes its a bit wacky and you wont see it for a bit but everyone else will.

yo r jizzle what you think about wandi vs jackson in november?

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

i hope so brother, its one of those matchups that they can do it 1000 times and Rampage can lose every time and i would still say “yeah sure i’ll watch em go one more” i really wanna see Chuck vs. Wand 2 and i dont care what is going on in who career, i just wanna see them fight again, and again, and again… lol.

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

well im off to watch a few episodes of the Contender Asia, ive only seen one episode so far lol.

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

for all the people who boo when the fight goes to the ground and the people who get bored by the real technical stand up, the Contender Asia is the show for you. they edit the rounds down to about 40 seconds or so and they just show good action, its Thai boxing so no worries for the people who get all homophobic about two men ‘raslin. i was getting really bored with all non-MMA sports and this show is cool enough to keep me interested in Muay Thai.

heres something news worthy for ya boys….

MMAWeekly is reporting that KJ Noons has been stripped of his title.
    http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/dailynews.asp?articleid=7153&zoneid=2
Im not gonna cut and paste a bunch of stuff you can all go read it if you want to. this is a good thing IMO maybe this will be the slap in the head Noons needs to realize that hes NOT a Fedor or Couture… shoot hes not even a Tito, he has NO pull in the world of MMA and the sooner he understands that the better.

    • bvrasp says:

Thats for the scoop on this one RJ. This was a huge mistake by Noons listening to that idiot of a manager, its obvious Noons wouldnt have cooked this up on his own.

I dont remember ever seeing a fighter get stripped of the title for refusing a fight. Its usually due to inactivity or steroids and sometimes even guys who have tested positive have still retained the title.

It seems kind of unfair when you look at it that way, but his sheer ARROGANCE cost him the title.. what a sorry turn of events.. especially since he might have beat Diaz again, then he would probably never have to fight him again. He would have kept the belt, got some more respect from his fans and other fighters plus raised his stock in the fight game.

Unless he cans that douche Dion and screws his head on straight, hes pretty much finished in the fight game.. What a waste of time training in wrestling and submission defense now that hes probably gonna end up boxing and fall completely off the radar..
