The UFC has officially confirmed three key fights for their year ending UFC 92 show in December.
The night will be headlined by two title fights as the UFC heavyweight (interim) title is on the line when Antonio Nogueira and Frank Mir face off, and the light heavyweight belt will be up for grabs when current champion Forrest Griffin and Rashad Evans meet.
These fights were already well known to be taking place, so perhaps the bigger bit of news is the official word that a light heavyweight fight between Quinton Jackson and Wanderlei Silva will happen at UFC 92 as well. This will be the third meeting between Silva and Jackson, with Wandi holding two brutal victories over “Rampage” in PrideFC.
