Danaand the UFC have been stirring up a hornets nest for a while amongst the fighters. Randy said his exit was about respect and now Fitch is saying it.
Who knows where Randy would go after his loss. Maybe he could/should start an organization. He definately has the skils to ensure it is fair to all who fight and the company. He has the name that would definately draw in fighters. Not sure how that would work with his Extreme Couture” camp though.
Dana could be cutting his own throat here. At some point he has to loosen the purse strings and pay them what they are worth and should earn!

Ya i was reading this stuff yesterday.. completely disgusting, im almost speechless.. almost hehe..

Im sure were all looking forward to the new UFC videogame, but i didnt think it would cause these kind of problems. Why do they feel the need to try and take advantage of their fighters at every turn? I would rather the game didnt exist than have them trying to gouge fighters or kick them out of the UFC because of a GAME? after all the hard work these guys put in? i can see why theyre pissed! IM pissed! and im not even a fighter.

Like with Werdums flash KO loss, which could have happened to anyone, they decided to give him a pay cut. WTF is that? if he won that fight, do you think he would have been given a raise in pay? its just sickening how they engineer these contracts to screw their own fighters.

Fitch was undefeated in the UFC i think, winning 7-8 straight fights then his first loss comes from GSP in a title fight and hes being released because of this ****? Its unbelieveable how they treat fighters, even upper echelon guys like Fitch arent safe.

Agreed, but you know as well as I do that Dana will never publicly back-peddle from anything.

It will be very interesting to see if this “opens the flood gates” amongst MMA fighters. There is no way other fighters, whether they are from AKA or not, won’t take this as a personal attack and injustice against one of their own.

While the UFC is the undisputed king now, moves like this could easily cause them significant problems down the road.

For the first time ever, I’m against Dana here. I love Dana’s bravado, I love him as a business man (UFC is a success, deal with it). But ******** AKA Fighters? This has gone too far.

A Fighters Union isn’t the answer, as Unions tend to cause way more harm than good. If Unions were voluntary, then cool, but you’re pretty much forced at knife point to join them if one is set up at your work place, and thats not right. But, Dana’s loss could be Afflictions gain, or perhaps there is another experienced promoter out there with access to cash who can stick Dana’s nose in this mess.

Dan f*cked up big here. He had better back peddle, admit his mistake and hope the AKA fighters will come back.
