In 2003, Craig "Dr J" Jolicoeur began what would eventually become MMA HQ.
Over the course of several years and several different websites, MMAHQ.com was established and quickly gained a loyal following. The original and current aim of MMA HQ is to provide up-to-date news and information in the world of mixed martial arts.
Today, thousands of people get their MMA fix either directly through MMAHQ.com, or through its news feeds or associate websites every day. Tags: Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, UFC 99
i said yes because i wouldnt mind seeing those two throw down one more time and im a bit curious about how Chuck will look at heavyweight, but im also thinking it the only fight i see at heavy for Chuck. of course there is other matches at heavy they could put Chuck in… but why? suppose Liddell beats Randy and goes on to beat Kongo or Carwin then what, he moves on what? say Velasquez, Herring, and Gonzaga fall to the Iceman, then you still have Nog, Mir, and Lesnar and in any order you put the above mentioned fighters Chuck will have a rough go with dudes that size that are all much closer to there prime then he is. the way i see it is fighting Randy is a good move for Chuck based on the idea that he is probably close to the end of career and he should be taking nothing but high profile/big payday fights from here on out.
Yes… sure why not.. heck thats like saying no to top sirloin for prime rib… if cooked right they are both good.. so heck why not, but you better stack the card with several other good fights or its gonna be a night at the TVU player online for me..
i really doubt they there going to put ANY other big fights on that card with the high price tag that comes with Randy AND Chuck. more likely we’ll see nothing but TUF dropouts and an (unjustly) over hyped co-main. you know how it is, they keep the payouts somewhere between $1M-$1.5M with pay per views and you know that’ll get chewed up with just Chuck and Randy so not chance we’ll see many other big names that night.
i say no bad move for randy what if he gets koed?again?i think randy still offers a couple really good fights at heavyweight, but how really good can u be when theres guys at the top u cant beat just ask big nog and franklin.but i would still go for couture on the rematch with lesnar but i have a really good feeling that big nog is going to put lesnar to sleep when the fight.
In regards to the poll that has been on the side of the site forever, Will partnering with Golden Boy keep Affliction in business. Was there ever a post going in to detail about this whole thing? If not what is that all about?
