Your a GRINCH Richard… it’s Christmas, go open a present, or eat some ham or something man… lol

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Cez says:

Im gonna trust in Rampage one more time and give him the edge in this fight. I can’t take credit away from Wandi, but I believe his best days are over, he couldn’t finish Chuck. Oldman CHUCK, wtf? I do hope Wandi gets his stupid ugly head knocked off for being so cocky. I was starting to have respect for him, not anymore. Ya’ll see a man redeem himself tomorrow night.

    • MMAKansas says:

Love the breakdown on that Cez.. hmmm let’s see.. no I don’t see what you see coming, I think Wandi has a couple good ones left and is in the best shape of his life, we will see hm reign with terror tomorrow and challenge the winner of the championship fight..

  4. richard says:

i dont know what u mean by i was starting to have respect,if it was the push he gave rampage, that was great man the fact is these guys dont like each other.but i still think rampage is gonna win

  5. bvrasp says:

yea the push was a must, took us right back to the beef before the first fight, we all know its real animosity but even if they did like each other a push still works nicely to hype the fight. Tito made a whole career out of generating hype by talking smack, his tshirts etc.. This is clearly the main event regardless of belts and clearly the most anticipated fight on this card.

I think enough has been said about it, the time is now, no more talking, lets see if the “old Wandy” shows up or the “new Rampage” takes control. Would have been nice to see a 5 rounder here because it would suck to see this one locked even after 3 and have to decide on a winner.

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

oh man if this one turns out to be a draw there might be some rioting in the streets tonight lol. like you said it would be cool if this one was a five rounder, i think thats one factor we missed out on for Chuck/Wand. i think for real big hype matches with no title involved they should make up some BS title, like make up a 210lbs title and call it the super-light-heavyweight title or supreme-asss-kicker champion or something like that just for the sake of having a five rounder. after the fight at the presser Dana could be like “sorry f*ckers, but that f*ckin bullsh*t, f*ckin title is f*ckin stupid so we’re dropping it right f*ckin now!” and that way we dont get a bunch of useless titles but we still get the five round fights lol.

  6. bvrasp says:

LOL ya or just call it the interim title or whatever.. or a veterans fight, who knows, who cares, give em 25 min. Seriously 15 min man? thats like a warmup routine for these guys, training for hours twice a day, waiting years to fight again, give us what we want :)

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

im all for them making all fights 5 rounds and title fights 7 rounds, even if that means less fights on every p.p.v. i know with all fights being 5 rounds we would end up with some very boring scraps, but we would also get a lot more “real” winners too.

      • MMAKansas says:

I thought you guys were betting on a KO for this fight? Why do we need 5 rounds if its gonna be lights out?

Course we thought the same with the Chuck V Wand fight last year too… lol…

I think that Wand has adjusted, changed camps, countries, orgs, cage v ring is done, the diet, moving the family, the climate, all that crap is done, so no excuses, Wand either wins on the merits that he is still one of the best LHW in the WORLD or he loses on those same merits, he is in great shape, looks strong and cut, and we know he has intense cardio, lets see if he can avoid take downs and impose the clinch, thing is it wasn’t the clinch that got him the second win, it was a looping right hand that rocked Jacko, which set Wand up for the finish with knees… so he might not even use them tonight we will see.. ahhhh cannot wait guys!

        • bvrasp says:

Ya ideally Kansas, but like you said, look at Chuck vs Wand. Im gonna be pissed if Rampage win on points using his wrestling, its the smartest gameplan, but thats not what anyone wants to see and if it wa 5 rounds, that means Rampage woul have to score even more takedowns and exert more control to get that decision win. Gives Wandy more opportunities to land that knee off the shoot, or circle with a hook, etc..

PLEASE! NO DECISION ON THIS ONE MMA GODS!!!!!

        • bvrasp says:

I dunno about all fights being 5 rounds, unless they changed the ppv to like 3 hours, 7 rounds is probably too much, especially when you got guys like Machida in there hehe. MMA might start to get a boxing feel to it. Less rounds keeps them aggressive, less fatigue and theyre kind of rushed to push the pace because they know time is quickly wasting away.

But big fights should be 5 rounds man, no question about it.

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

im not all that worried about Wand/Page going to the cards, im thinking Wand will sting him with something hard and Rampage will start swing for the fences and go down in a heap, guns blazing. and with someone like Machida i would be curious to see if he could avoid getting killed for 5 instead of 3, in a 3 rounder a fighter knows he has to be a bit more aggressive if he plans on winning whereas in 5 you have a bit more time to hang back and figure things out. if someone like Tito didnt chase Lyoto around and hung back a bit to get something together im sure he would have at least done a bit better.

  7. bvrasp says:

For you guys who havent been watching Danas video blog for 92, heres episode 3, kinda funny, more adventures of Danas shock pen hehe. He doesnt feel the need to censor himself even in front of his kids lol, tone it down a bit Dana, be a dad.

  8. MMAKansas says:

Yep.. looked like Jacko didn’t have ANY water in his muscles, so I think he is going to come in very heavy, possibly 215 pounds heavy, that gives him an advantage, but with Wand’s cardio being at top notch, I mean guys, look at him, he looks BETTER now than in pride, more defined, cut, I really think he is going to surprise some people tonight, I don’t see him gassing out at all, I do see Jacko coming in a bit heavy, but there are always risks with dropping that much water before a fight and coming back in heavy… we will see what happens…

    • bvrasp says:

215?? im thinking more like 225 or something, Wandy weighed in at 203 man, hes probably gonna come in at like 210-212, i think he could make 185 if he wanted to, but he doesnt want that and neither do we :)

    • R.J. St.Croix says:

i thought of that too, about Rampage weighing-in at 206 and sucking back the water right after and Wand weighing-in at 203 and looking good. that tells me one of two things, #1 Rampage plans on taking it to the ground and keeping it there, #2 he made a miscalculation on his cut and had to work a bit harder to get there. im thinking more likely #1 is the answer and Page wants the size to muscle Wand around on the bottom, and that is still a bad idea IMO for a couple reasons, #1 your weight advantage is only going to help IF you can get it to the ground #2 your making yourself slower AND more likely to gas early and that is a BAD idea against an animal like Wanderlei!

      • bvrasp says:

Man, i really hope that wrestling tactic doesnt happen, if he takes Wandy down and bangs him out, then ya ill say he got it done. But if he holds him to a decision i wont be satisfied with that fight. I think theyre gonna meet again regardless of who wins, id love to see it again too hehe.

But ya its obvious Rampage is a much bigger guy.

        • R.J. St.Croix says:

yeah this is one of those matchups that it’ll be ok to do over and over. Wand/Page, Wand/Chuck, Wand/Saku…. come to think of it maybe its just Wand lol.

  9. bvrasp says:

    Best comment from the presser..

Wandy: “Dana, put my name on the cheque for Knockout of the night”

    LOL
