  1. Lam says:

How is it that Fedor made $850,000 less than Arlovski.

  2. PATRICK says:

because andrei is more popular than fedor is..

  3. Lam says:

Thats freakin lame. That still doesnt make any sense to me.

  4. Zak says:

Over a MILLION??? Wow no wonder he left the ufc! But I am absolutely shocked at how much less Fedor made than him. I agree with Lam; it makes no sense.

  5. Skope says:

Those numbers don’t tell the whole story. Fedor will get more in the end than Andrei did, because of win bonus and unreported payouts.

  6. bvrasp says:

ya thats just what had to be reported by law to the commission, im sure Fedor made over a mil for this fight, no doubt. You could almost consider him as a partner in M1 instead of just a fighter, plus hes probably getting points on the ppv too.

  7. Amir says:

    Doc,

Can you please post the videos of the fights…

    Thanks

  8. richard says:

i really hope it did well,i bought it but with these kinds of payouts i doubt that the will be around much longer

  9. R.J. St.Croix says:

i think Affliction might be giving Dana/UFC a “f*ck you” by contracting Fedor at such a low cost it might make people who dont know better think “why couldnt Dana sign Fedor? the guy fights for peanuts right?” and almost makes Dana look scared to sign him or something outta fear that this guy he talked sh*t about will come in and kill everyone in his promotion and make him look bad…. most likely NOT the case but it would be funny lol.

  10. dave says:

I can’t imagine that $300K is all he recieved for this fight. I am sure he received a huge bonus for the win. I think he is just as popular as Arlovski. I do agree that affliction may be putting too much into the salaries though. Elite XC put all their cookies in one jar, Kimbo Slice.

  11. tom manderalo says:

you guys are soo dumb….he has to report his wages when hes leaving the US to the IRS.. He came to anaheim, they have it that he made only 300gs, but really, he made more than arlovski. theyre jus sayin 300 for the sole purpose of him not paying mad taxes. They probably off shored his account 800-900gs.

  12. Amir says:

So after having to cancel this past weekend’s Affliction house party of mine, I was seriously considering throwing a party for this weekend…until I just saw the rest of the fight card. Aside from the main event, I don’t see any other significant matchup. The Machida fight will no doubt be boring as usual, and the rest of the card is mediocre at best.

    Very dissapointing…

  13. You forgot to list De La Hoya’s $5 million he got from Affliction to show up at the event.

    • Dr J says:

De La Hoya, Golden Boy PR, and Affliction have all denied the claim. Why should we take the word of Larry Merchant with no questions asked?

      • richard says:

and if u really think about it,it doesnt make sense he’s trying to promote the fight and i think maybe become a small partner why drive them to backruptcy before they reach there potential, its only there second show.besides who the **** cared that de la hoya was there anyways

        • Maxx says:

Golden Boy Promotions is De La Hoya right? Affliction MMA = Affliction + Goldenboy + Trump….why would he slit his own throat?? Sounds a little like sour grapes to me.

  14. Boxerguy000 says:

I think Fedor should have been paid more for this fight, why was there such a difference in what Fedor made and what Arlovski was paid? I don’t think the differences were justified.
