wow did Phil Nurse say the wrong thing when he said “looking back at the tape it did kinda look bad” the commission started getting all jumpy about that one lol. plain and simple it looked like he may have put some trace amounts of vaseline on the wrong parts of GSP but it didnt look like he was trying to put it there and thats the issue here right? someone said something on a forum that made a lot of sense “its like an eye poke, both are against the rules BUT was it intentional?” cheating is cheating and if they can prove that St.Pierre or his corner where cheating then yes i agree reverse the decision and have a rematch but i just dont see #1 that they where cheating and #2 how they could prove intent if they did. and for those who are gonna say things like “it doesnt matter if he meant to do it or not, its still cheating” save it because i would agree with you if the outcome of the fight changed because of it but thats not the case, if they didnt mean to break the rules AND it didnt make a difference that they did then maybe it should just be left alone.
F that Rj you know it’s ******** and it should be reversed and a rematch and cheating is cheat ..lol (just messing with yeah) i just wanna see them fight again and this time no vaseline inbetween rounds except by the guys that do it before you go in the ring lol .. on a side note i am fighting in winnipeg in may and maybe victoria in april .. holla at your boy!!

This guy is just not man enough to say that he was wrong. He made a serious mistake and made terrible excuses to try and justify it. Ok sure maybe you are a man of integrity BUT that has absolutely no relation to this case. It doesn’t matter if cheating is not something you normally do, or if everyone that knows you thinks your a stand out guy. The point is that you applied vasoline to parts of GSP’s body that you should not have. Plain and simple! Were you doing it intentionally? It doesn’t matter! His excuse of not knowing what to do because of all the screaming and yelling doesn’t wash with me. At first he refers to all his years of experience in MMA then by the end he says he’s still in the learning process of what to do when he’s cornering. Yet he’s cornered how many dozens if not hundreds of fights? The only reason this fight should not be overturned is because GSP did not consent to this vasoline being applied to him, even though he did make no objectional gestures (probably cuz he trusted that his cornerman could do his one job right);second because it had no bearing on the end result of the fight.
