DREAM has officially announced the match-ups for the second round of their 2009 Featherweight Grand Prix.
The quarterfinal round will take place at DREAM.9 this May and will feature four featherweight tournament fights.
- Joe Warren vs. Norifumi Yamamoto
- Abel Cullum vs. Hideo Tokoro
- Bibiano Fernandes vs. Masakazu Imanari
- Hiroyuki Takaya vs. Yoshiro Maeda
Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto is the only fighter not to appear in the first round of the featherweight tournament at DREAM.7. Yamamoto received an automatic buy into the second round due to an injury that prevented him from fighting at DREAM.7.
DREAM.9 is scheduled for May 26 in Kanagawa, Japan. Other fights expected to be on the fight card are non-tournament bouts featuring Gegard Mousasi vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou and Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Gesias Cavalcante.
