Silva fought in England a few years ago, I watched him get a decision win against a guy called Lee Murray at a cage rage event.

Silva has to be pushing for the LHW title soon, a match up against Machida would be great!

I don't see any point in speculating so far down the line. If time has proven anything, it is that anything can happen at any time(injuries that sideline fighters for long periods of time), or the simple fact that the UFC has rarely had a track record of putting together the exact fights that should be happening. Anyone remember a guy named Yushin Okami? did he not deserve a title shot a long time ago? or how about Lyoto Machida's struggle to get the title shot he long deserved?

Does anyone really want to see Silva vs. Maia (which is basically "Silva/Leitas 2")

Or even Silva vs. Marquardt 2?

Hell, why don't they just make Silva vs. Franklin 13?

If Anderson Silva is trully the greatest fighter on earth as he is being promoted by the UFC (which I don't believe, but is a very close 2nd to Fedor of course), let him go to the light heavies and take on the Shoguns, Griffins, Rashads, Rampage etc.
