MMA veteran Mike Pyle will make his UFC debut tomorrow night as he takes on Brock Larson at UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida.
Pyle will be replacing Chris Wilson who is an extremely late scratch from the fight card. No official word has been given yet why Wilson will be unable to compete, but the reports circulating from Las Vegas indicate that Wilson was unable to complete the required medical paperwork in time to be approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Pyle has compiled a professional mma record of 17-5-1 with 15 of his victories coming via submission. Pyle lst fought in October of 2008 where he defeated UFC veteran Brian Gassaway in the first round. Pyle’s last loss came against Jake Shields in an EliteXC event back in 2007.
