In 2003, Craig "Dr J" Jolicoeur began what would eventually become MMA HQ.
Over the course of several years and several different websites, MMAHQ.com was established and quickly gained a loyal following. The original and current aim of MMA HQ is to provide up-to-date news and information in the world of mixed martial arts.
Today, thousands of people get their MMA fix either directly through MMAHQ.com, or through its news feeds or associate websites every day. Tags: Adrenaline MMA, Ray Mercer, Tim Sylvia
Doc, now Tim has been cut from the Affliction trilogy card because of this embarrasing loss. When it rains it pours doesnt it? I cant imagine how Tim must be feeling right now.
Thats the problem with these ridiculous fights, in my opinion Tim had nothing to gain from this fight and really.. neither did Mercer, not like he will build an MMA career off this. The guys a grizzled veteran, even over 50 years old in the first min of the fight hes as dangerous as ever.
I heard that Tim was well over 300 pounds for this fight suggesting that he underestimated Mercer and didnt train NEARLY hard enough. He really screwed the pooch this time around and it cost him DEARLY.
Big Tim did this all to himself. Everyone in the world was saying what a stupid idea this fight was but Tim and Monte Cox went ahead and did it anyways.
no arguments here, considering he got 800K from Affliction the first time, even though they dropped their payroll dramatically since then, im sure he was looking at something like 2-3 hundred grand.
Embarrased by an old man, brutally knocked out and not being able to get up for like 2-3 mins and losing a quarter million dollar payday for a freakshow fight.
One big huge nosedive, wow, its scary how fast you can lose it all in the fight game.
the fall from grace isnt a far one in the sport of MMA, some top tier fighters have less the 20 fights under there belt and if 4 or 5 of those are loses it looks bad especially if they happen in a row and even more so they happen after a long string of wins. i think at this point big Tim doesnt have enough time left in his career to save face, the climb to the top is gonna be a long one if he hopes at all to be a top 5 fighter ever again.
LMAO….. comedy gold! poor Timmy, the guy is gonna go to his grave being disrespected and sh*t on but the guy makes some crap career choices, Blind Date, fighting washed up boxers, hookin up with Arlovski’s sloppy seconds, showing his Hank Hill lookin asss in a movie, wearing his title to the corner store, and sh*ting him self during a fight, im thinkin he needs one of two things right now #1 a PR guy that tells him what to do every step of the way or #2 a very deep cave that no one will find him in till everyone forgets about him lol.
lol very funny
TIIIIMMMBERRRR!!! LOL that some funny stuff right there, and Timmy thought it was hard to get people to cheer for him before LOL.
