UFC middleweight Michael Bisping apparently didn’t learn his lesson after getting brutally knocked out by Dan Henderson at UFC 100.
MMABay.com is reporting that Bisping will face off against Wanderlei Silva at UFC 105 when the UFC returns to Manchester, England.
Wandi most recently fought at UFC 99 where he lost via decision to Rich Franklin.
The fight with Bisping would be Silva’s first UFC fight at middleweight and, in my opinion, will end just as brutally for Bisping.

Not so fast says Wanderlei’s camp. According to Wandi’s manager, Rob Cardenas:
“That fight hasn’t been offered, discussed, or even addressed by and between the UFC and Wanderlei or any member of Wanderlei’s management,” Cardenas told MMAWeekly.com Thursday afternoon.
“Wanderlei wants to wait until February to fight, and that’s coming from Wanderlei and Alejarra (Silva’s conditioning coach), who I spoke with this morning,” continued Cardenas. “In fact in a recent interview that we just completed, he’d like to fight Dan Henderson next, which he understands isn’t going to happen for a while because Dan is fighting Rich Franklin.”

Bisping has to fight a serious contender if he doesn’t want to be a complete joke, so he’s between a rock and a hard place. Fighting Dean Lister or somebody like that isn’t going to give him any credibility, so he might as well go for the gusto. I would give Wand the edge, and it should be an action-packed, short, violent fight.
The thing about Bisping is, the strategy he uses is pretty smart considering his abilities. He dances around and lands alot of punches, granted they are not damaging shots, but he always seems to out point his opponent. Like in his fight with Hendo i think he was on his way to a decision victory before Hendo put him to sleep. If Bisping didnt make the mistake (and keep making it over and over regardless of his coaches yelling at him) and move towards Hendos power side, he could have very well won that fight.
Ofcourse im with Wand here (as always) but he needs to formulate a plan to try and cut off the cage and stop Bisping from using his hit and run tactics and force him into a brawl. In the past Wand has not been very aware of these kind of tactics, he goes in there to fight, not to try and win on points. I just hope that attitude doesnt leave Wand on the losing side of a decision if he cant catch Bisping in 15 min.

bvrasp are you serious? Bisping was losing that fight all they way. We must have been watching different fights. There was no way Bisping was winning that fight either way. Bisping has never been and never will be a top fighter. He is a mid level fighter that is a UK fan draw. Dana has carefully managed his career path to this point to gain a European fan base. Smart buisness on his part but even he is well aware he is not top contender. I think Dana wishes he was and hopes to find a UK UFC Champion star. Silva would kill Bisping anyway you look at it. Bisping would only have a lucky punchers chance.
i dont know that Bisping was losing that fight, its the same deal with the Rampage/Forrest fight a lot of people said Rampage won that fight but the thing is its not always about who lands the bigger shots but sometimes the volume and effectiveness wins the fight. if fighter A lands 40 softer but clean punches and fighter B land 10 big hard shots, if fighter B cant finish the job then fighter A is winning that fight due to the point system in the unified MMA rules. on a side note, im thinking someone needs to better explain what the judges are looking for because the judges, fans, and fighters seem to be a bit confused on what exactly it is that wins you the fight.
