I’m going to miss Dana’s vlog’s. I loved seeing the behind the scenes stuff. exspecially on fight day. hope the are really making a show about them but would rather see it on spike than hbo.
I was looking forward to strikeforce man.. it seems like the whole card has changed top to bottom, the only fight thats still interesting is Gina and Cyborg which has become the main event.
I mean, injuries happen, failed tests happen, but imagine you had tickets to an event and by the time it comes around, its not even close to what you had paid to see.
Im disappointed and im watching it for free.. now the UFC is showing UFC 100 at the same time as strikeforce, so theyre looking to bury strikeforce now and achieve a complete monopoly in the american MMA scene.
You notice how the UFC has been signing every fighter out there with any kind of a name in MMA, most of which are washed up has beens. They must have signed like 20 guys in the past week and with Dana on his “making amends” mission the UFC is making some aggressive business moves man, they always have but dam, theyre really going for the jugular now.
what about babalou vs masoui, thats going to be a great fight.
i seen an interview recently where they ask Dana about the new beef with UFC/Strikeforce because Strikeforce decided to hold the Fedor conference at the same time as Danas press conference, and Dana more or less says the gloves are off and if they wanna go to war then he’ll crush them like everyone else. this is bad for Strikeforce because there is no way they can compete, even if UFC fills a Fight Night card with nobodies to counter a Strikeforce show it’ll do better just because of the popularity of the UFC and Strikeforce being all but unknown to the average MMA fan.
strikeforce has been around for a while so they have there own loyal fan base the only problem they have is if they start paying there guys like affliction they will go out of buiness.
Man, I thought Tim Sylvia quit fighting to focus on his ‘hunting career’. I wish he would just stay out of my life!
