Judo master Karo Parisyan and submission stylist Dustin Hazelett have both verbally agreed to a fight at UFC 106 this November.
Karo “The Heat” Parisyan will be coming off a nine-month suspension for testing positive for multiple banned painkillers after his UFC 94 victory over Dong Hyun Kim this past January.
Dustin “McLovin” Hazelett last fought in November of 2008 where he secured a submission victory over Tamdan McCrory. Hazelett was expected to face Ben Saunders at UFC 96 but was unable to compete after tearing his ACL. Surgery and rehab have kept Hazelett sideline the whole year.
UFC 106 is currently scheduled for November 21 in Las Vegas, NV. The fight card will be headlined by the UFC heavyweight title fight between current champion Brock Lesnar and undefeated challenger Shane Carwin. Tito Ortiz will also make his return to the Octagon when he fights Mark Coleman.
