Continuing his trend of mental instability, welterweight Karo Parisyan has pulled out of his fight scheduled for this Saturday’s UFC 106 fight card.
Karo was scheduled to fight Dustin Hazelett but has instead pulled out hours just days before the scheduled bout. Karo has not spoken publicly yet and given any explanation.
UFC President Dana White is not happy about the situation, as can be expected, and has said Parisyan will never again fight in the UFC.
“Karo Parisyan has f***** over the UFC, the fans and his opponent again. He will not be fighting Saturday or ever again in the UFC,” wrote White. “Pulled out of the fight the day before weigh-ins again with a laundry list of excuses. Let the press ask Karo why. Let him explain.”
White did say that Dustin Hazelett will be paid his full fight purse including win bonus.

Good riddance. I hate this f—ing cocky douchebag more than any other fighter. Never has a good thing to say after getting his *** kicked. Always making excuses. He thinks he’s the best fighter in the world, let him have to eek out his living on no name MMA events from now on. F—ing loser!!!
I don’t HATE anyone, I am disappointed in this happening, but I am not going to let my world get rocked for even 1 second because he pulled out. Why let that effect us? It’s just one even, and one fighter and really the only loser here is Kayro, his career is probably toast because of this.
One other thing, he’s obviously addicted to painkillers, that stuff can be like heroin, it’s rough out there, any of you drink till your drunk a LOT? Well thats an addiction too, how about smoking? Kayro is addicted I am convinced, all we can do is pray for the guy.
I think it would be stupid to treat say Evan tanners drinking problem which cost him EVERYTHING including his career in MMA arguably, than what Kayro is going through just because Kayro has pulled from a couple fights.
I don’t think there is any comparison between a genuine person like Evan Tanner and a bonafide jerkoff like Karo Parisian. I really could care less what this guys demons are, I care about how he behaves and respects and treats people. He’s been an a–hole his entire career probably long before any pain killers.
Honestly, has Karo been relevent in the last 3 years? NO. So why does anyone get mad or act surprised when this happens again?
He’s addicted to painkillers and people should just write the fighting days off as over..

well ive been a long time fan of Karo, hes clearly the best judo practitioner the UFC has ever seen and one of the best ever in the history of MMA. Since he was 9 training with Gokar Chivichyan one of the greatest and still undefeated Judoka ever, his skills even surpassed Gokar. I was a huge fan around the time he was supposed to fight Hughes and most people thought he could beat Hughes who was unstoppable at the time.
In TUF he made a complete *** of himself which is true for many established veteran fighters. It was upsetting for me to see people bashing Karo so badly even though he deserved it from his attitude. Kind of like Rampage, im still a big fan but i cant deny that hes been a complete douchebag this season of TUF. Im still a fan of Karo and Rampage but im very disappointed about how things have turned out for these guys.
At this point Karo clearly doesnt belong in the UFC, hes got problems that have no quick fix solution. Hes got to get his life together man! hes got so much skill and talent its an absolute CRIME for him to be sitting on a couch somewhere.
Hopefully we can take the “never fight in the UFC again” comments by Dana with a grain of salt like everything else he says. If Karo manages to beat the pills and start functioning well enough to get back to training i hope there could be a place for him in the UFC again in a few years.
Listen guys, we have had so many guys fall off the MMA map for years now and in many cases these guys sort out their problems or injuries and reinvent themselves as fighters and people. Hopefully within 2 years we will see a stronger, wiser and more humble Karo Parisyan.

Ok i had a 22k parlay win coming to me after saunders and sadollah won their fights AND THEN… i had Johnson over Kos. So i was pretty excited when AJ was lighting Kos up in the first round until the FAKED INJURY by Koscheck where he took off like 4 min and completely recovered. If that wasnt enough he decides to eyepoke AJ in retaliation of the FAKE poke he received ok fine whatever.. then ANOTHER poke! a blatant open handed jab from a mile away, clearly intentional. Ofcourse AJ only took 30 seconds to recover which was not enough….
Not even a warning from the ref, so when you think about it, hey, why NOT poke guys right? theres no penalty to you. Im fckn pissed right now man! He essentially cheated TWICE in the fight because he knew AJ was hitting him harder.
I cant even comment on the other fights right now.. im just annoyed..
bvrasp, I couldnt agree more… Im glad we got to put Kos in the running for an academy award after tonights dramatic acting performance… and we got to see AJ get a warning for kneeing a grounded opponents forearm… i also had a big parlay tonight but unfortunately i believed in the irish hand grenade which proved to be a dud.
