Evan Tanner may not ever get into the UFC Hall of Fame, but the unique fighter has won a place in the hearts of many MMA fans. His intriguing life is the focus of a new documentary entitled “Once I was a Champion,” and has received increasing amounts of recent support.
The film’s director, Gerard Smith, recently went on ESPN 96.1 to discuss the project:

Once completed, the film will be around 2:00:00 in length and will include bonus content. It’s unknown when the film will be completed but Dana White is expected to film a segment soon.
