Ryan Bader vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson may not have been the most exciting of fights on the card but, for just a brief second, the Japanese audience were given a glimpse of the destructive spirit that enamoured them to the Pride incarnation of Jackson.
It’s pure speculation as to how much Bader was hurt as a result of this thunderous slam and, as much as it didn’t affect the outcome, for a split second the watching world stood in disbelief as Rampage elevated his foe and drove him into the canvas.
Quinton Jackson may not have long left in the fight game but there can be little doubt that he still has the ability to ignite a crowd like few others.
