A lightweight bout that was originially scheduled to take place way back at UFC 118 will finally happen on FOX.
Reports indicate that a bout between TUF veteran Joe Lauzon (21-7 MMA, 8-4 UFC) and Liverpudlian Terry Etim (15-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) has been verbally scheduled to take place on August 4th from Los Angeles.
No further details have been released about this card at present but a match up between middleweights Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman has also been widely touted to feature.
Both Lauzon and Etim will be looking to bounce back after highlight reel head kick losses against Anthony Pettis and Edson Barboza respectively.
The two lightweights both bring an inconsistent 2-2 record in their last four fights and surely need to firmly re-establish themselves in the upper echelons of the division with a decisive performance.
