As the words reverberated around the Twitterverse there were very few people who could believe what they were reading. Dana White’s announcement of the mythical Fedor Emelianenko finally making his UFC debut caused every journalist to begin furiously reporting the facts and conceptualising their next big article.
It was only after a quick walk to the kettle, via the calender, that this writer was reminded that on April 1st, even the UFC can get away with this kind of sensationalist headline grabbing japery.
Maybe next year Finklestein, maybe next year.
