On the day that the UFC moved arguably the biggest middleweight fight of all time; one of the most dangerous 185lb stars not currently under the Zuffa umbrella has signed on the line.
Bellator and CFC champion Hector Lombard (31-2-1 MMA) has not lost fight since November 2006 when he dropped a bout to Gegard Mousasi at Pride Bushido has confirmed that he has indeed signed with the UFC.
Lombard makes the jump following the ending of a Bellator contract that saw him win all eight of his fights with seven coming within the distance.
His amazing 25 fight winning streak has seen the Cuban Judoka conquer Alexander Shlemenko, Jesse Taylor, Trevor Prangley and James Te-Huna amongst many others.
I am in the UFC it is official :)
Anderson Silva won the UFC middleweight championship just one month before Lombard’s incredible streak began and it remains to be seen who the organization seek to match up the Bellator champion with initially.
