Ultimate Fighter Brazil’s 6th episode began in the house, where fighters shared their varied perspective about fighting teammates.
Belfort is up 4-0 right now, and the coaches decide to have two featherweight fights back-to-back. The next fight will pin Hugo “Wolverine” Viana from Team Belfort against Team Wandy’s Marcos Vina. Wolverine wins the first round, and the second is very close–but Vina seems ahead. However, the judges see the fight as a unanimous decision for Wolverine. Belfort’s team is now 5-0.
There’s more discussion about teammates fighting one another between Gaspar and Rony Jason, who are friends.
There’s also a surprise visit by Lyoto Machida, and some heart-to-heart talks about the pressure fighters face. It continues to be evident just how much more serious Brazilian TUF contestants are to the varied mix at American seasons of the Ultimate Fighter.
