Ultimate Fighter Live: Episode 9 Recap

In this episode, Mike Rio gets ready to square off against Andy Ogle. But first, we get to watch the coolest coach’s challenge ever, as Cruz and Faber get to carry huge ammunition cases, flip tires, climb rope and shoot a bunch of really cool guns. Cruz looks like he’s ahead at first, but Faber catches up at the end.

After all of the fun explosions, Cruz and Faber get to hang out with Dana and discuss quarterfinal matchup picks. Cruz is annoyed because Faber sits close to him on the couch.

After a spirited back-and-forth battle, Ogle sinks in a nice rear-naked choke. This leaves Team Faber in the lead, 5-3. Will they continue this lead next episode?

The quaterfinal matchups are announced, with James Vick scheduled to face Joe Proctor, and Justin Lawrence up against Michael Chiesa.

Predictions, anyone?
