Pride 33 Fighter Salaries

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the fighter salaries for this past Saturday’s Pride 33: The Second Coming event.

I don’t normally due full previews of Pride Fighting Championships events, but seeing as how their next event is this Friday Saturday in Las Vegas, I thought I’d give a little preview. Plus, there are some really excellent fights on this card and several well-known fighters to the American crowd.

Nick Diaz Signs with Pride

Man, it seems like there is quite a bit of Nick Diaz news recently. First Diaz’s title fight against Thomas Denny in the Gracie Fighting Championships gets “postponed;” next, Diaz signs a deal with the newly formed Elite XC promotion to fight in May.

Mirko Cro Cop will join the UFC

It appears that Mirko “Cro Cop” Filopovic will be officially joining the UFC in the near future. Multiple sources are confirming that fact that Cro Cop is on his way to fight in the UFC.
Look out Tim Sylvia… Your days as heavyweight champion are numbered.
