    omg I'm scared to buy these, how big are the 16 oz? because they are muaythai glove they must be big as hell! the guy in the picture iswearing 12oz and it looks okay, I can't imagine 16oz, its gonna be bigger than his head lol. and btw in most sparring sessions, gloves are 16oz.

    I own a pair and the great thing about these gloves are that they are not big. For 16s, the size itself is pretty small and better simulates the size of gloves you would fight with. I love my Fairtex gloves and this price is a steal. Besides, most gyms want you to spar with 16s to protect the people you train with.

    Are 16oz gloves are that's available or did the 12s and 14s really sell out in two minutes and thirty seconds?

    Odds are they're just the ones that are available. Aren't sparring gloves usually 16 oz only?

    Just curious. Nah, most sparring gloves go to 14, too. 12 is rare.

    @Danny: The gyms I have trained at would not let us spar with anything less than 16s. It is for the safety of you and your partners. Some of the pros will use lighter gloves with each other, but most folks use 16s.
