I've got the white version of these and between the padding and the construction I feel that they're probably gonna last me a loooooong time. Definitely a great deal at this price.

To Aaron: I know you get this a lot, but would you mind sharing if you've got any headgear lined up for the near future? After getting my eye scratched yesterday I'm kicking myself for not picking up the full-face Ring To Cage model you had up at the end of July. Thanks!

Also, for anyone still on the fence, here's Clamp's review (w/pics):

I'm sure we'll have headgear in the next couple of weeks.

    Hi there,

I am trying to order from BJJHQ however it keeps saying I have an AVS mismatch and the billing address does not match the card holders, when the addresses are correct. What should i do Aaron?

It means your credit card company is not verifying the address you're entering as the address on your card.

How can I proceed using the same card? The card is a debit card.

You can ask your bank to confirm the address. Beyond that, if it's being rejected for an AVS mismatch, it won't go through.

We're going to add Paypal support to try to avoid this issue.

Hey Aaron, If I order a pair of these gloves and the rash guard from BJJHQ do I still get charged for shipping on both, or can you put them together in one package? I live in UK BTW. Many thanks!

Are these the mexican style gloves? Any chance for some good padded, but compact sparring gloves soon? Eg TopTen or Gorilla gear?

I know these are 16 oz, but the description says they're good for bag and pad work. Are these also good for sparring? Just wondering.

they are def hard. But once u break them in they are good for sparring too. I use them for everything! Bag, mitt work, and sparring. They offer excellent protection though and feel very snug on your fists and offer awesome wrist support

Golden Gear has amazing quality and incredible value for authentic handmade Thai gloves. I've been using them since they first hit the market.

Excellent gloves, exact same as Fairtex. I love them.
