Also, anybody have any experience with this brand of shorts for use in just grappling/BJJ? Thinking about getting them if they are good for just BJJ.

My 11 year old son wears a lot of Revgear. Gloves, protective gear and shorts. We swear by them. He's never had a problem with anything they make. He uses them for training as well as BJJ, Boxing and Randori competition.
