    Hey, the banner's showing that I bought today's deal when I didn't. I wish I did, though!

I just paid $80 for the Hayabusas a few weeks ago. Looking at the velcro pattern and foot coverage, I'm guessing these are identical and just branded differently. If so, this is an awesome deal.

If you want to spend that much on shin guards, you should have went with Top Kings.

Again, Hayabusa is grossly overpriced and seems to be more about looking good. They are the Apple of MMA gear.

Only Top Kings I've seen were big and bulky for more standup only. I wanted something with full back for when going to ground. Maybe there is a Top Kings that's good for grappling?

They look identical to the Hayabusas, which are awesome anytime you go to ground and never shift. There isn't a lot of foot coverage, it only goes down about half way, and your toes are very exposed. Depending on how you train, that may or may not be an issue. The shin coverage is very solid. There are heavier duty ones, but these are a very good balance of agility vs protection.
